The Old Pioneer Market
Where you come in as a stranger and leave as a friend

Sharon Freese
Sharon has been with us since the market first opened and wears a few different hats around here. She helps out when she can and also runs her own vendor booth where she sells Skinny Mixes, Myra Bags, Montana West purses, and her daughter’s handcrafted resin creations—plus a mix of other fun finds. Outside the market, she enjoys spending time with her miniature Australian shepherd, Marley, who keeps her on her toes.

Lisa is a true spitfire with a heart of gold. She's fun, full of energy, and one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Whether she's helping out around the market or sneaking off for “just one more try” at the coin dozer machine, Lisa brings a spark wherever she goes. She’s now joining us a couple of days a week on staff, all while managing her two vendor spaces—one filled with stylish denim and clothing, and the other packed with a unique mix of vintage and antique treasures that are just as bold and eclectic as she is.

Merideth Steely
Merideth is one of the kindest, most soft-hearted souls you’ll ever meet. She’s the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back without a second thought. A quiet but constant presence at the market, Merideth is always looking for ways to lend a hand—whether it’s jumping in for a last-minute shift, quietly fixing little things, or simply being there when we need her most (even if we don’t realize it yet). She’s a devoted mother who pours love into her children and extends that same care and warmth to our entire market family.

Laura Chimienti
Laura is a firecracker in the best way—outgoing, sharp, and guaranteed to make you laugh while getting things done. With top-notch customer service skills and a natural way with people, she’s one of our biggest cheerleaders—both for the market and our vendors. She brings bold ideas, fresh perspective, and a whole lot of sass to everything she does. Whether she’s working the counter on Tuesdays or popping in to help keep things in shape, Laura is a leader, a friend, and the kind of teammate who makes work a whole lot more fun (and fabulous).

Teri may be our newest helper, but she’s been part of my life since Girl Scouts—where she was my leader—and now she’s part of our market family too. She doesn’t have a set schedule, but she’s always ready to step in when we need a hand. Teri is not only a great team player but also one of our customers’ favorite vendors, known for her beautifully eclectic collection of vintage colored glass—including uranium and Indiana glass—vintage Christmas, and rare treasures you didn’t even know you needed. She brings warmth, charm, and a friendly face to both customers and coworkers alike.
